#SixSunday, Ashes Ashes, WIP
I’m skipping ahead a little bit and over the next few Sunday’s, I’m going to show you some of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite chapters! This Sunday we meet Nate, Liz’s ex boyfriend who came home with more than just a new arrogant side. Shocked to see him standing in her doorway two years later, all she can manage to mutter is, ‘what are you doing here?’
“I live here,” he said, returning my defensive tone.
“Not for the last two years, you haven’t.”
“Rumor has it, neither have you.”
Everything about him, the closed off look in his eyes, the shaggy black hair that was long enough to fall into his soft brown eyes, the clothes, it was all wrong.
“Yeah, what else does rumor tell you?”
“That you’re single.”
Arrogant Nate has found his way into my heart, but I doubt that what follows will touch you the same way...dare to find out? Come back next week when Liz’s bodyguard comes face to face with the man who broke her heart. Craving more six? Get your fix here...Six Sentence Sunday! Here are some of my favs...Wendy Russo, L.J. Kentowski, and Krystal Wade.
